Just a quick follow-up for my last post. The terrified screams seem as if they have been passified by none other thannnnnn (drumroll, please) her blanket. No, I'm not kidding. Gave her back her blanket (it used to belong to my mom, it's fuzzy with Halloween skulls all over it) and she rubbed it on her face, giggled, and layed on it. Puth er to bed that night, she waqs out by 8:15 as if nothing ever happened. Go figure. Security blanket at 9 months old? Guess so.
